I am so sorry I have neglected the site for so long. We have had lots of changes going on:

We welcomed a new baby girl in may. She is the most beautiful thing we have seen in so long, even as sick as she made me! This has made big brother Jack so happy and proud.

Soon after we welcomed baby Claire, we lost her cousin to cancer. It was devastating to our family, but we are learning and growing, and loving.

So what do these changes mean for you? A new blog and a new site! It's true....savvysarah designs is changing face and changing name! I am working away on it and hope to have it up and running soon! The new little girl in our house brings more crafting opportunities and more items in our little shoppe. I am so excited about it.

Things you will find are fun items for babies, toddlers, and older kids! Here are some teasers....fun magic wands, darling custom hair accessories, nursing covers, ring slings, snack packs, blankets, and of COURSE, custom name and birthday shirts.

I will be participating under the new name and new face at Worthington Market Days in September 2010 with 2 talented friends! Stay tuned and I will unveil the fun!

rustic name shirts

new! rustic name shirts are in and are stitched in random and slightly obscure circles. the edges of both circles will slightly fray with time and wash. they are completely custom and made to look a little bit rustic.

any color combinations are welcome.

chair backers - halloween

chair backers will fit on rounded or square-backed chairs. simply tie them around your chair and let them hang naturally. chair backers can also be trimmed with a felt spooky cat (attaches with a pin) on the front or back.

backers are $5 each, discounts given for orders of 4 or more. spooky kitties are $2 each.

They are created from premium Gerber burp cloths and have a double row of thin ribbon piping along the back. New to my store! These nursing covers are so neat - I wish I had one when Jack was little! They are rectangular and have a strip of boning in between the straps. The adjustable straps ensure a perfect fit every time. When mom is wearing this, the boning curves out perfectly so mom can peek down at babym while offering discreet covering while nursing. Covers are available in any print or color theme you need! Each cover is $18.00

As if the face didn't tell it all....

My son recently turned 2. He wore this shirt out to Pottery Barn Kids where they had a storytime. The shirt was a huge hit and I received several orders that day for similar shirts. They are $20 plus shipping....and size number that you would like. This one features an oversized number......in case they souldn't tell from my son's face or his behavior that he is, in fact, 2 years old.

Emily ordered this little tutu and matching "k" shirt for her friend who just had a little baby girl...and her mommy is a dancer. What a perfect gift for a new mommy!

Mandie ordered this "gracyn" shirt for her little girl. She came up with the color combination...I am so gald my clients have great visions. I would never thought of that combination for a little girl. I think it's darling!

Here are the newest additions to Savvy Sarah Designs' custom orders!

The owl was cut by hand, after a free-handed design was created. I stitched the little feathers on the front for an added element of cuteness! Thanks, Cassie! I hope she likes it!

Thankfully I have hilarious friends, who are also customers! Tammy wanted an "LL Cool J" shirt for her little boy, Jake. I love it. Isn't it funny?

And Jennifer wanted a special valentine for her little darling girl, Kennedy. So cute! I can't wait to see a picture of her in her little lovey outfit!
